Shri Venkatesh Refin Q3 net profit down 34.18% at Rs 4.16 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 4.16 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2023 as compared to Rs 6.32 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 34.18 per cent.
Net revenue of the company declined substantially by 22.03 per cent at Rs 124.54 crore in October-December quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 159.72 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During October-December quarter, operating expenses dropped by 23.55 per cent to Rs 114.82 crore from Rs 150.19 crore in year ago period.
Other Income grew by 600.00 per cent at Rs 0.07 crore versus (Dec'22 Rs 0.01 crore).
Operating Profit surged by 2.10 per cent to Rs 9.72 crore as against Rs 9.52 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 30.87 per cent in December quarter.
Interest grew by 59.51 per cent y-o-y to Rs 3.94 crore, while Taxation increased by 200.00 per cent at Rs 1.44 crore (Dec'22 Rs 0.48 crore).
